Mrs. Robinson's practice is client-focused and results-oriented toward seeking, maintaining, and protecting client's intellectual property rights. She has over 10 years of experience counseling clients in every area of intellectual property, including transactional matters, licensure, and litigation defense and enforcement. Kelly assists clients in various fields to develop and protect their intellectual property portfolio, ranging from software, textiles, biotechnology, and electronics to chemical and educational advancements, mechanical devices, and innovation in the apparel and furniture industry. Communication with clients is important to Kelly toward an understanding of client goals, managing costs, and helping the client plan, understand and make educated decisions regarding their intellectual property portfolio.


Kelly is a partner at MacCord Mason and resides in Greensboro with her husband and son. She is active in the community and has served on the Board of Directors for Greensboro United Soccer Association and volunteered with the NC Fusion program.  She is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1996. She attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she received her Master of Arts in Science Education in 2004. She returned to The University of North Carolina at Greensboro for her Master of Science in Biology in 2006, afterwards, attending Elon University School of Law in Greensboro where she received her Juris Doctor.


Kelly is admitted to the practice of law in North Carolina and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Greensboro Bar Association.
